At SMUGMUGS, we love memes. Yes, those little images that show up on your devices that have heart-warming statements, inspirational quotes and of course, some words that could make you blush.
While swiping through our social media feeds, we realized that there were some memes that were so good, they needed to be printed and left out to be enjoyed.
So with that epiphany, SMUGMUGS was born. We instantly became merchants of wordy ceramic drinking vessels. All our images are original, created by both humans and AI (that's artificial intelligence. AL had very little input). The printed words come from many sources, some of which are indicated as quotes, others paraphrased. Every mug message has been selected to motivate, inspire, insult, entertain, or just to make you nod your head in agreement.
We've only been at this since 2024, so over time you will see the inventory changing up to respond to your interests. And of course, if you have a phrase, image or sarcastic wisdom that you'd like to see on a mug, don't hesitate to let us know.
A question we get asked...well never, but one that we want to answer is, "do you really stock all 3000+ mugs?" The short answer is, no. We print them as soon as you order. That way we have lower overhead and we can have them printed in the city closest to the delivery address, so you save on shipping. Aren't you glad you asked?
